Painting lesson with a Ples artist

Ples is the Mecca of artists. Isaac Levitan, who arrived in Ples for the first time in 1988, just could not leave and stayed here for 2 years and painted about 200 paintings. Some of them gave great prestige to Isaac Levitan and the town of Ples, or, as the locals say, Ples glorified Levitan. The painting lesson in Ples is an opportunity to feel that elusive thing that the Artist had felt here.

Oil painting takes place in the artist's studio or outdoors. Together you will go to one of the most picturesque places of Ples and spend 3-4 hours around the campfire with tea. Do not be afraid of plein-air painting in winter: if the temperature is acceptable and the clothes are warm, you will feel comfortable around the campfire.

Pastel painting takes place in Grand Sova. You will be on a cosy veranda overlooking the Volga and spend 1-2 hours learning the technique. Pastel paintings are amazing! The masterclass is interesting not just for adults, but also for children from 8 years of age.
